My overall experiences are very good. I was treated very fairly and got all the information I needed.

I am new to Bascom Palmer so hopefully it continues as great as my first visit

They always explain each procedure and how well I am responding to the treatment process.

Too busy, too big, Dr spennt about 10 min but less than 15 min. I felt being rush out out of the room after waiting for the Dr for almost two hrs.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Fortun for several years, after Dr [last name] no longer had PGA appointments. Dr Fortun has maintained my excellent vision and I am honored to have him continue my care.

I was a little taken back that there wasn’t a bed available for me after finishing all the paperwork with the nurse but she did give me a warm blanket to wrap in while waiting forA bed. It wasn’t too long a wait.

I did not initially see Dr Fortun I think maybe a fellow came in and she had no idea why I was there. She discharged me but I asked to see Dr Fortun. Apparently he was not even going to come in my room. I would rank the initial provider very poorly but since the survey has his name on it I did not. It would be great if someone would call me so I can share how the appt went before he came in.

I have never had a omplaint about Bas om Palmer. The service is spectacular and I have full confidence in everyone working there. I did receive an email today stating that my next appt was canceled due to me not being satisfied with my treatment. That was not true and I did not have am appt on the day they mentioned. My follow up is supposed to be on the 12th and I am keeping that appt.

After care directions were really poor. I have tried to contact with questions via portal and no one responds. Terrible!!!

I enjoyed meeting Dr. Fortun… i’ve heard so much about him from a friend of mine who was an old patient of his. He is very down to earth and very slow speaking and very concerned about my health. I really had a lot of respect for him because of that, and I decided to change doctors and use him as my doctor for the future.

My husband was an ophthalmologist with New York Islander 60 years ago. I miss the attention you got with the ophthalmologist that left about 15 years ago and you joined up with the hospital in Miami.

Dr Fortun has been my Dr. For the entire time I have been a patient. He has been wonderful caring always with a smile always answers Every question. He is the best.

Dr. Fortun was wonderful. I have been treated for AMD for 7+ years and the 2 previous Doctors, although very good, have never mapped out or provided the in-depth detail of my actual condition like Dr. Fortun did. The doctor who saw me just before Dr. Fortun was not nearly as thorough or clear in the description of my disease. He spoke to fast and with his accent was difficult to understand. He also need a better personality and bedside manner.

Dr Fortun explained everything to me and advised when I should return for the next injection. I feel so fortunate to have Dr Fortun as my physician and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Thank you
